Yoga for pregnancy:Women's health has always been an interest of Emma's. Encouraging women to practise yoga at a pivotal time in their life is something Emma gets a huge amount of joy from. Yoga is the ideal way to exercise during pregnancy. It helps your body cope with the changes experienced during pregnancy, prepares the body for birth, keeps you fit and supple, whilst also helping you find calm and relaxation within the body and mind.With the class limited to 8 women, Emma will provide a safe and personal environment for you to learn and move through your pregnancy. Tea & coffee will be provided after class, giving the class a chance to get to know each other a little better.
Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow.
Somatic presence is a yoga practice deeply rooted in the philosophy of mindfulness and compassion arising from the aspiration to cultivate mediative awareness in the way we move, think and breath.

It combines breath work, physical exersices, meditation and mantras to strengthen the nervous system, balance the glandular system, expand lung capacity and purify the blood. It promotes emotional balance and enhanced intuition so we can control ourselves rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings.
